Hi I'm Sam, the Social Media Alchemist®️ and the founder of the Academy. I've have been helping entrepreneurs and businesses turn their content into GOLD for over 8 years.
As a social media expert, social media psychologist and strategist, and having built a successful social media agency ' Social Impact' from scratch I don't just love helping business owners and entrepreneurs with growing their presence on their social media I also want to help others start their own amazing successful social media business
As a Mum to 5 children, one of whom has special needs and complex issues I know first-hand how hard it can be to work for someone else. After years of working within the corporate world working 70 hour weeks and only getting 4/5 week holidays a year starting my own social media business 8 years ago was the best thing I did for myself and my family.
my Story: Why I Started the Academy
The Mentoring Experience
Over the years, I have been mentoring others who where already social media specialists but also those who wanted to build a successful careers/business in social media management. Through these mentoring sessions, I had the privilege of guiding and supporting numerous talented individuals. Witnessing their growth and success was amazing, but it also opened my eyes to a significant gap that needed addressing.
Recognising a Special Need
During my mentoring journey, I spoke to many incredible Mum's of children with special needs. These women were not only devoted caregivers but also possessed a strong desire to contribute financially and professionally. However, they faced unique challenges:
Lack of Flexibility
Traditional job roles don't offer the flexibility needed to balance caregiving responsibilities with a professional career. I know I've been there, trying to juggle hospital appointments, filling out endless forms and school meetings having a full/part time job and working for someone else just doesn't work.
Limited Opportunities
There are few opportunities that work around these situations and specific circumstances, making it difficult to find meaningful and flexible work.
A Vision for Change
I realised there was a need for an educational platform that could empower Mum's to do just this. They needed a solution that would allow them to gain valuable skills, earn a stable income, and feel fulfilled beyond their role as caregivers.
This realisation sparked the creation of our The Social Media Alchemist Academy.

Frequently Asked QUESTIONS
Q: How long will the certification take me?
The Academy has 10 sections and set aside 2/3 hours a week to work through each section. We recommend setting aside 2-4 weeks to complete the assessment/exam.
Q: What if I can’t make one of the sessions?
They are all recorded and you will have access to them either generally on the same day the session is run.
Q: What support is in place?
The Academy is a self-study course allowing you to work through it at your own pace. You will have access to both Sam and her team to ask questions via WhatsApp and a dedicated email.
Q: How long do we have to take the assessment/exam and qualify?
We recommend starting the assessment/exam as soon as you have finished the 10th session as all the information will be fresh in your mind and suggest putting aside a few hours a day over 3 days
What if I don't pass the assessment/exam?
We require a 70% pass rate for you to be awarded your certification/accreditation if your results are less you will have the option to re-submit your assessment/exam one more time.
